Step Free Access and Wheelchairs
The Apollo Victoria Theatre has 4 wheelchair positions located at either end of Row F in the Circle. These are accessed via two platform lifts from our Vauxhall Bridge Road entrance; one from street level to foyer and one from the foyer to the circle. Wheelchair users wishing to use the platform lifts are kindly asked to check that their chair does not exceed the following maximum weight and dimensions: 75cm/29.5 inches width (including push rims), 95cm/37 inches length, 47 stone/ 300kg (wheelchair and patron combined). You can find a detailed image of the platform lift dimensions here.  If your wheelchair exceeds the dimensions and/or weight above, please Contact Us to discuss alternative options.

Should you wish to arrive in a wheelchair and transfer into a theatre seat Row F of the Dress Circle is accessible via the 2 platform lifts, so please check the dimensions above. We can store your wheelchair in a nearby location to be brought to you when required.

Limited stairs or stair free access is in Row F of the Dress circle. There is a total of 17 steps to these seats with handrails, or they are stair-free if you enter the theatre and auditorium using two platform lifts.

If you require lift access please aim to arrive 30-45 minutes before the performance starts at our Vauxhall Bridge Road entrance. Please notify a member of the Front of House team of your arrival and they will call for the Access Host, who will organise operation of the lifts for you. Please try to arrive on time as the lift cannot be operated during the performance. Please note, any patrons wishing to use the lifts must have either booked a wheelchair space online or you need to contact the Box Office in advance, by email or phone.

Mobility scooters cannot be used on the platform lifts. Scooters will need to be taken into the foyer via a ramp at the Wilton Road entrance and stored for the performance.
